Rego and PD videos- 1 hr of free PD (Victoria)

Dawn Colcott is VIT's Manager of Professional Learning and is largely responsible for the creation of VIT CRT Network program.  On August 9 2012 Dawn gave a presentation to the Wodonga CRT Support Network on Registration and Professional Development.

From 2011 onwards, September 30 became a significant date in the teaching profession calendar. The time frame has changed for payment of annual fees and renewal of full registration.

Full registration requires all teachers to maintain their professional practice and suitability to be a teacher through the renewal of registration process.

To be able to teach effectively for student learning, a casual relief teacher should have current professional knowledge and practice.

The Institute recognises that CRTs sometimes have less opportunity to know about and engage in professional development activities.

We gratefully thank the Victorian Institute of Teaching for it's assistance in the creation of these videos.

This opportunity is aimed at Victorian CRTs but is suitable for all Victorian Teachers and is completely free to anyone wishing to access it.  We encourage the sharing of this page to other teachers whom you believe may benefit from it!  

Note:  References are made to Pdi and Pdi PASS codes and, unfortunately for Victorian Teachers, Pdi is no longer active.  Reference is also made for an "expiry date" for PASS codes.  All existing PASS codes you have been given are now valid until your next renewal of registration.  This applies whether you are on the new 1 year cycle or the old 5 year cycle.
