RTA Relief Teacher conferences: Voting is now open!
Each year the Relief Teacher Association puts on conferences and voting is now open on locations! It helps them identify areas where it's viable to run conferences as well as get a priority list happening so it's good to get in and have your say.
I presented at last year's RTA conference in Sydney and the day was a great experience for presenters and participants alike.
As CRTs, isolation can be a big deal. It effects our hip pockets, our enthusiasm for our profession and how we view our own value and qualities we bring to the profession. I can guarantee that being in a room full of a hundred or more relief teachers does wonders for our enthusiasm and respect for ourselves as professionals.

For all of you in the Albury/Wodonga area, don't forget to put that in the "other" box. We've been talking with the RTA about supporting them to run a conference locally for a few months now, between the Wodonga and Albury CRTs we can put enough bums on seats to make it happen!
It's not only an excellent opportunity for us to get Vic and NSW CRTs together and connected but also to get some much-needed accredited PD into the area for our NSW registered colleagues!
